Was wondering who from the local SyTy world is planning on attending? Perhaps this could be a local get together, whether you race or not.
POST here if you will attend...... if we get enuff peeps, perhaps this could be our first get together in quite a while. I personally am willingh if others are......

Sam; it's July 30th and 31st in Woodburn OR.
Kelly; long time no type bud.....
I'm thinking of possibly going down for just one day....... which day do YOU prefer Kelly? I also hope it isn't too hot out cuz last time I was there I was miserable..... can't stand that oven type weather and no shade. This ole man just melts.
I know Wanda is bringing her Sy and new GN down, and Dennis is bringing his Ty for the daughter to drive. Any others interested in hooking up down there?????

LAST PITCH ON THIS;
THE MORE THAT ARE WILLING TO GO FOR A DAY, THE MORE IT WILL ENTHUSE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME. RAISE YOUR HAND IF IT'S DO-ABLE...... EVEN IF YOU DON'T WANT TO RUN YOUR TRUCK, IT WILL BE A GOOD OPPORTUNITY TO VISIT.

Would love to go. I might not be able to make it until Sunday. I have a company picnic that Saturday. I'll try to get out of it. Would love to see everyone.

Doh... Well I know I can't make it Saturday since I have a company picnic. I'll have to see if I can get Friday off so I can go.

Kelly, were you there cruising through the pits last year.. I saw another Syclone there, the only one there other than mine.. IF you saw one it was me! I was there racing it.. We towed it down there in our racecar trailer. The one I saw was really clean, and YES it was hot and I didn't see this little truck run. Track temp on Saturday was 135 degrees. I doubt it will be that hot. The forecast is between 70 and 80 degrees this time. :)

Wanda, that was me cruising through the pits last year. I didnt stay very long because of the heat. Hopefully this year will be cooler.
Congrats on your Gn purchase too :)

Hey Roland and wanda, Let me know any details, I'm going to see if I can get that Friday off and drive down there to watch Kelly race...I might take my "beater" car if the Sy isn't ready for a road trip.

I was thinking of going down, but just for one day. Maybe go down early saturday morning and come back that night. However, if you Darin are going down on friday for the nite drags, then I may change my plans so we can hook up. It would be nice seeing you and Kelly again. Be sure and let me know of your plans.
I like Kelly do not like that heat, hence I'm going for the one day. Plus, if I drive my Sy down it's doubtfull I will race it as it's too far to be towed home if something goes belly up, and you guys know my luck
Wanda...... if it's hot out, I would definately like to visit the inside of your house on wheels PLEASE. THX!
Looking forward to seeing you folks there....

I'd be interested in driving to Portland to shoot the sh%! and make a few passes....
Pending someone with a tow truck is willing to tow my truck back to Seattle, if something breaks ...

Pat and I will be going down Thursday or Friday, and will be staying there till Sunday morning, if they let us(they did last year). I'll be racing the Sy, and Pat will be racing the GN. The Sy's getting a new fuel pump and wires, and the GN's getting an Eric Marshall chip, plug wires, cold air kit, and a Duttweiler-modified intercooler put on it. He's gonna be busy, and he will be bummed if my new wheels don't get here before TTV, because the tires are so shot that he won't be able to race it, so it will stay home if it doesnt go as planned. The new tires are in though, alotta good they do without wheels. It would be really cool if a bunch of you guys came down. The preregistration for the event is only 5 bucks and it goes into to funds for racing payout. If youre interested, email Dave Loney at [email protected] and let him know. If you want to see pictures, I have some from last year.. I can send them via email if interested. Any questions I can help guide you in the right direction Here is the link for the form. Its a pretty big event. http://www.t6p.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=2577 Just print out the form and send it to Dave, his address is on it. Come on down, it starts Friday, July 30th and ends Saturday night, the 31st, there will be a show and swap meet, besides racing. There's going to be alot of turbo cars there, and you know the saying, the more the merrier!! Gonna be a blast :)

Looking at weather.com, it says Woodburn is gonna be 90* today..... groan. Forecast says 85* for saturday. Wanda, PLEASE save me a seat in your AC'd home on wheels...... even if it's just the "one holer"
Unless weather report shows hotter, I will leave early saturday morning and drive down for the day. Looking forward to seeing Kelly, Darin and Wanda's new GN and any others who make the trek.
Here's hoping for "reasonable" weather. For those I don't yet know, I'll be the bright white bird legged one that's soaked in sweat.

Unfortunately I am not going to be able to make it. I have a company picnic on Saturday and I have to help set it up. I won't get out of that until 3 or 4 pm so no way I can make it down.
Good luck to everyone and I hope it isn't too hot down there.
