The one I have I got from RPM, I just put a little vasaline on the o-ring and it went in really easy (stock rail) and I didn't take the rail off ?.

Man.. that thing can be a bitch. I had to buy a new stock fp reg to get my o-ring. The o-ring split and I couldn't find one anywhere. Dr Injector didn't have them. (They were out).

well i solved the problem using some Klonz lube...i did as you paul and as o-ring went south...turns out they are the same size as the injecter o rings thus i had some laying around and used one. i was concerned about lube eating away at the o-ring, but then i thought, hell if gas doesn't ruin it then why would some klonz lube. problem fixed.

it can be a bitch however.
